IPCAL – Integrated Pouch Cell Assembly Line

Higher Automation and Increased Productivity with the Affordable Capital Investment Typical of a Pilot Line.

The line integrates in one line Z-Fold Stacker, Tab Welding & Trimming Machine, Pouch Sealing Machine and Blister Forming Machine.

EPM – Electrode Punching Machine

This machine punches the electrodes from a coated roll in an automatic process which reduces the workforce needed for its operation. The tolerance on the cutting tool (in the micron range) allows a precise cut without burrs and with very precise dimensions.

The machine is a part of the Pouch Li-Ion Cells Pilot Assembly Line.

TWTM – Tab Welding & Trimming Machine

The TWTM trims stacked electrode current collectors and welds final tabs to anode and cathode of the cell stack.
During the welding phase, stacked tabs are maintained in the correct position thanks to specific tools.

The machine is a part of the Pouch Li-Ion Cells Pilot Assembly Line.

PSM – Pouch Sealing Machine

The PSM is designed for sealing the blister pouch of Li-Ion cells.
A trimming station allows the operator to cut the extra pouch material after sealing has been completed.

This line is designed for start-up and pilot production of pouch cells, with dimensions suitable for EV and Energy Storage applications, and it is equipped with en efficient and user-friendly tool for developing new cell sizes and for testing different chemistries, with high quality standards. Cylindrical Li-Ion Cell Pilot Assembly Line

Solith’s Pilot Assembly Line for Cylindrical Li-Ion Cells is designed for both research and factory labs, being suitable for the production of a wide range of cells, including 18650, 26650, and 21700 formats. It covers the entire assembly process, from electrode cutting to cell filling and sealing.

The complete line is composed of eight machines: Strip Preparation Bench, Tab Welding Bench, Cell Winding Machine, Deep Can Welding Machine, Can Necking Machine, Top Cap Welding Machine, Electrolyte Filling Machine, and Can Crimping Machine.

Roll-to-Roll High Speed Electrode Notching Machine

This equipment is designed to perform the roll-to-roll notching operation of lithium-ion electrodes.

This machine ensures the highest notching speed available on the market with the highest precision and is suitable for application in factories requiring high yield and final product quality.

CWM 250 – Cell Winding Machine

Multi purpose flexible winder for large size Lithium-ion cells and supercapacitor, extremely precise edge positioning control of electrodes and separators.

Can be equipped with prismatic or cylindrical tooling.

CWM 150 – Cell Winding Machine

CWM 150 is a flexible Winding Machine designed for laboratory production of 18650, 26650 and 21700 cylindrical cells, prismatic Li ion and EDLC cells.

It is part of the Pilot Assembly Line for Cylindrical Li-Ion Cells.

DSU – Degassing & Sealing Unit

The Degassing & Sealing Unit is designed for production of Pouch Li-ion cells. The sealing operation is performed under vacuum to remove gases developed by lithium cell reactions during formation cycle.
Degassing and pouch trimming operations are made in two separate modules for better maintenance and process control.
The equipment is provided with wheels for an easier positioning and relocation inside laboratory or dry room.

EFM – Electrolyte Filling Machine

The Electrolyte Filling Machine is designed for production of Pouch Li-Ion cells and it performs electrolyte dispensing under vacuum and pouch sealing.
The equipment can be  provided as stand alone unit for dry room or for glove box installation.

The machine is a part of the Pouch Li-Ion Cells Pilot Assembly Line.

ZFS – Z-Fold Stacker

The Z-Fold Stacker is designed for the stacking of anode, cathode and separator in the Pouch Li-Ion cell assembly process. The operation is automatic, so that precision and repeatibility are much higher than in the manual stacking process.

The machine is available in different versions and it is a part of the Pouch Li-Ion Cells Pilot Assembly Line.

BFM – Blister Forming Machine

The Blister Forming Machine is designed for production of  Li-Ion cells blister pouch starting from rolls of packaging material.

The machine is part of the Pouch Li-Ion Cells Pilot Assembly Line.
